SENSATIONAL SIXTH SENSE: TESTING AND ACTIVATING YOUR INTUITION WITH EMOTION

News from Denise and Summerhill Ranch

Denise has just been to the I Can Do It event in Pasadena.  A lady came all the way from London to hear her speak.

Emotion and the sixth sense (Clairsentience) :

Clairsentience refers to tapping in to your sixth sense through your emotions/feelings/your empathy – that’s how you can tell what’s going on in the world around you.

Signs of being clairsentient:

· If you’re in a crowded, noisy place and you feel exhausted, then you’re probably clairsentient.
· If you feel like you have more energy being alone, and if you feel calmer being alone but get stressed if you’re with a number of people, then you could be clairsentient.
· The reason for this is that clairsentient people pick up on the emotions of others – they can feel the emotions of others, eg.  if a clairsentient person is with someone else and they start to get exhausted/angry/sad for no reason, chances are that they are tuning in to that person’s energy field.
· If you wake up tired after a good night’s sleep, you are probably picking up on emotions during your sleep.
· If you look in the mirror sometimes and you look young and vital but at other times you seem to look as if you’ve aged 15yrs – you’re clairsentient, you’re like a sponge, absorbing energy all the time.
· It can even be physical symptoms – if you’ve been around someone and you have unexplained aches and pains, you are probably tuning in to that person’s energy.
· If you feel that sometimes you lose your sense of identity and things you’re passionate about when you’re with others, instead taking on their causes and passions – then you’re clairsentient.
· Sometimes clairsentient people feel like they don’t belong, even with their family – reasons can be because of past lives, but perhaps it’s a symptom of being clairsentient.
· If after people talk to you, they feel energized but perhaps you feel depleted – this too can be attributed to clairsentience.

The gift of being clairsentient:

· Clairsentience helps you to be empathetic and understanding of others.  Good healers or coaches are often clairsentient.
· Another gift is that your body becomes a Geiger counter or a litmus test – you can feel when you’re in the right/wrong place or if you’ve made a decision that does/doesn’t empower your life. 
NB:  Celebrate this gift.

Protecting yourself as a clairsentient person:

Being clairsentient, you can get drained/exhausted.  Here are some things that you can do to protect yourself only when you need it – don’t protect yourself all the time because you will develop the attitude that you need protection and that other people are enemies who can hurt you:

  1. Drink water – it keeps the energy flowing through you.
  2. Meditation/visualization:
    1. Imagine that you’re a geyser and water is flowing up through you so powerfully so that nothing can penetrate or get to you. 
    2. Imagine that a waterfall from the Heavens and water is cascading over you so powerfully that nothing can get in because it is washed away by the waterfall. 
    3. Surround yourself with white light or imagine spiraling energy coming up through the earth powerfully. 
    4. Imagine angel wings are wrapped around you – this is powerful so that nothing could diminish your energy.
    5. If you have someone standing in front of you and you feel yourself getting more drained, imagine a fine mesh net with thousands of crosses.  You can hear the communication from this person, but it’s coming to you through the net.
    6. Or imagine a rose between you and the other person so that your communication with the other person comes through the rose – this minimizes this loss of energy you’re feeling.
  3. Holiday shopping can drain you because you’re in contact with a lot of auric fields and you’re absorbing the energy and taking the stress with you.  So take an Epsom salt bath (1/2 lb) and soak in it so that you can feel everything draining out of you, and then a cold shower rinse.  If you don’t have a bath, scrub your body with the salt.  This re-energizes your emotions.

Physical sensations:

· Sometimes you can feel Spirit or angels or someone from the other side present by a tingling sensation in your body. 
· A tickling feeling or a pressure on top of your head, or a feeling that you’ve been touched, or your hair is standing on end, or even a spontaneous emotion – these things can be physical messages of this presence.

To develop this ability:

Have a friend bring you objects that you have no idea who owned them or what the background of the objects is, but your friend does – hold the object and note the emotions or feelings that come up.  Note what physical sensations your body feels eg.  do you instantly feel strong, or do you instantly feel timid.  Do you feel dynamic, or shy?  Then get some feedback from your friend.   

Clairgustance:

This refers to tuning into your sixth sense through taste and is very rare eg. suddenly having a bitter taste in your mouth for no explicable reason.

How to know whether a feeling is ego or Divine Guidance:

Remember the feeling you get when you’ve been right (ie.  When you’ve tuned into the sixth sense and discover that you were able to sense something accurately).  This feeling will come whenever you’re on track and sensing something accurately – this is how you know that it’s your sixth sense and not a reaction coming from your ego.

SENSATIONAL SIXTH SENSE: TESTING AND ACTIVATING YOUR INTUITION WITH SMELL

Denise and her family drove down to Louise Hay’s 85th birthday event.

Smell and the sixth sense:

Our sense of smell is a really strong indicator and a really strong connector to our sixth sense.

Examples:

· A lady smelled smoke while in her car (it had nothing to do with her car).  She had an intuitive feeling and suddenly had a flash that she had left her iron on at home.  She was able to avert a fire.
· A man said that as a boy, one night he smelled cigar smoke.  His dad smoked cigars, but his dad was in Vietnam.  At that moment his dad had been wounded and had been thinking of his son, and there was this connection between them through smell.
· A woman said she started to smell the cologne that her fiancĂ© wore, even though he was on an overseas military tour.  However, he had decided to surprise her with a visit, and she was experiencing a sixth sense that he was on his way.
· A woman smelled violets, a smell associated with her grandmother – at the exact time that she smelled them, her grandmother, who was a thousand miles away, was passing away.
· A man went to the perfect job interview for the perfect job.  However, when he was in that environment, he smelled a very bad smell that no one else seemed to smell.  He couldn’t take the smell and decided not to take the job, but to settle for a less appealing job somewhere else.  A few months later, the company he had turned down went bankrupt!  The smell was a symbol.
· A woman was doing online dating and decided to give a particular guy a chance since she had the wonderful smell of the ocean that was so strong and so pervasive.  She ended up marrying him and they moved into a home near the sea!

Interesting research and findings:

· It was found that subconsciously, most people like or dislike people more based on their smell.
· Women will often choose a mate (subconsciously) based on the way he smells –not the cologne, but the molecules that we all emit that have odour. 
· MHC molecules, a segment of our DNA code, relate to our immunity and a woman will subconsciously choose someone who has different molecules to her, which means that her children will have an expanded sense of immunity.
· Women tend to have a stronger sense of smell than men.  During the 3 days that a woman ovulates, that sense of smell is really strong.
· Some dogs are trained and can smell or sense an epileptic fit before it comes on.
· In the New England Journal of Medicine, a cat named Oscar had 25 successful predictions.  When someone was about to die, he’d go into their room and sit there.  When people are going to die, their smell changes and Oscar could smell it.

NB:  Do not make yourself wrong (in terms of your intuition/sixth sense) or blame/judge yourself if you’re wrong, because that is the fastest way to shut your sixth sense down.  The instant you judge yourself, you diminish your ability to activate your sixth sense.  When you get something right, celebrate like crazy.

What you need to know about activating your sixth sense using your sense of smell:

· We have almost 400 smell receptors
· One of the fastest ways to activate your emotions is through smell – you will feel the same emotion that you experienced when you smelled that smell before.
· Use Denise’s exercises on this radio show as an example – she projects a certain smell to you and you use your sixth sense and try to recognize what she’s projecting.  When you get something right, there’s a sensation in your body – remember what the sensation is because whenever you feel the same sensation, it’s a clue that you’re spot-on with her projection.
· As you open yourself to smell, you will find that there are messages everywhere around you (associated with the sense of smell).  Listen to those messages.
· The smell of roses may be associated with a message from a loved one from the other side – but the smell of roses is more specifically associated with someone who is a guru, or someone on a high spiritual plane.

SENSATIONAL SIXTH SENSE: TESTING AND ACTIVATING YOUR INTUITION USING COLOUR

Denise and her family had the first rain of the year in their area – a big event, especially for the feathered members of her family (her chickens!) who seemed a little apprehensive at the unusual sight of rain!

What is the sixth sense?

That sixth sense is our ability to perceive the subtle dimensions or the unseen world around us (which contains angels, ghosts, heavens, people who have passed on, prophetic images) – all of that which we have no way of proving through the physical universe. ESP, clairvoyance, premonition, intuition all fall under the sixth sense.

There are 2 ways in which we perceive the world:

  1. Through our 5 senses (smell, taste, sight, sound, touch)
  2. Our sixth sense also utilizes the physical senses (smell, taste, sight, sound, touch), but in a more subtle way.

Examples of sixth sense experiences through the 5 physical senses – when the inner and outer realms overlap, and these experiences seem real, but there is no validation in the physical realm:

· You smell something eg.  roses, or something strange like sauerkraut (true story!), and through this smell, you just know that someone is trying to connect with you from the other side – you have a foot in this realm and a foot in the next realm.
· You think you see something out of the corner of your eye, but there seems to be nothing there.  If this happens, admit to yourself that maybe you did see something but you don’t know what it is.
· Someone in an accident/war appears in full physical form to a loved one, and then they disappear – this person at that time was going through something traumatic and their spirit was reaching out.
· When people were out in nature being still, they’d have an amazing experience eg.  a teacher saw two birds flying in unison and carrying between them beads, which then expanded into a beaded cloak – she was not asleep, and this was a profound experience for her.
· You hear someone say your name and there is no one there; or you hear music, bells or singing that can’t be accounted for; you hear a knock at the door but no one is there.
· You feel as if someone touched you or passed their hand over your head, but no one was there.
· You get a certain taste in your mouth (sweet, bitter, etc.)

Examples of sixth sense experiences through the non-physical senses

· Hunch, or a gut-responses
· Through your dreams
· A knowing or a flash (something that you see or somehow suddenly know and then you find that it actually happens)

NB:  Do exercises to activate all of the senses for sixth sense experiences – because the more powerful and attuned your sixth sense is, the easier it is to be at the right place at the right time, and to make decisions that empower you, and to make a difference in the world for others.

How do you develop the sixth sense?

  1. Believe - that you have a sixth sense, that there is another realm that is always communicating with you and giving you signs.  Believe, even if you have moments of doubt
  2. Meditation – 1 minute a day can make a difference.  Sit still and focus on one object in front of you and be aware of what’s around you for 1 minute a day.
  3. Enter into a very subtly altered state of consciousness – walk or sit down and let your eyes get lazy, then start breathing very deeply.  Do this in nature if you can because it’s easier to see auric fields in nature.  Look at a plant/tree/flower and be present with it.  Be quiet and use your imagination (which is often the key to the inner realm) – imagine that you can sense or see a light around the plant.  Imagine that you can see or sense an auric field.  Often just imagining this begins to open that inner knowing.
  4. Free associate (say or think of a word, and the very next image or word that comes into your mind, you say that or think that image/word.  And so you continue…) - free associate with the intention of activating your intuition or knowing and it will work.  What you need to consciously know or remember can come to the surface.
  5. Ask yourself:  what’s the message? - eg.  pick up an apple and ask what the message is.  If this apple had a message for me, what would it be?  Let it come, it doesn’t have to make sense and that’s part of the skill of the sixth sense – you’re not filtering or judging, you’re just letting it flow.
  6. Doodle – especially doodle while listening to music as music activates your right brain (your intuitive side).  Then ask:  if this doodle had a message for me, what would it be?
  7. Ask yourself:  what’s next?  - Choose a random page in a book.  If something happened on this page, what would it be?  Supposing the picture of a tree comes to mind, then you skim the page and notice the word “branch” – that would be interesting.  You could do this with a suite of cards.

NB:  Do exercises where you’re not attached to whether you are right or wrong (so that you don’t judge yourself).  The more unattached you are, the easier it will be to activate your intuition, and the easier it will become to get more accurate readings for your life.

Colour and the sixth sense:

· Colour is a vibration/energy.  Every colour has a different wave. (towards the red end of the rainbow, the waves are slow vibrations.  Towards the other end of the rainbow, the waves get faster.  Some colours, eg. ultraviolet, can’t be seen by us because of the speed of the wave – insects see ultraviolet.
· Colour relates to our emotions. eg.  studies have shown some of the following:  red may be used in a restaurant since it activates your appetite and catches your attention.  Blue is soothing and relaxing.  In a yellow environment, people have more clarity, are more communicative, and make fewer mistakes.  In a lavender environment, people are less likely to communicate.  The effect of the colour on your emotions doesn’t always correlate with the rate of vibration of the wave.

· “Your sixth sense is like a muscle – if you don’t use a muscle very much, you don’t have control over it.  But if you exercise it, if you use it again and again, you develop a skill; you develop use of that muscle.”
